Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

The Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., Oct. 4, reported estimated receipts of 1,500 as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last weeks limited test, steers 700 to 850 pounds an extremely higher undertone was noted. Heifers not enough for a market test, steady to lower undertone was noted.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 26 head, 716 lbs., 146.00; 8 head, 793 lbs., 146.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 145.60 to 148.85.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 700 to 750 lbs., 134.75 to 137.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 130.25 to 132.25.
