The Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Neb., reported receipts of 2,600 head, compared to 3,100 head last week, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb.
Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 600 pounds were $2 to $12 lower. There were not enough to show a comparison on weights over 600 pounds. Demand was moderate to slower. Steers accounted for 53% and heifers 47% of the offering, with 10% of the offering over 600 pounds.

Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 495 to 496 lbs., 161.50 to 164.00 (162.07).
