Apache livestock auction reportThe Apache Livestock Auction, Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 1,668 head Sept. 27, compared to 2,373 head last week and 3,095 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady to $3 lower. The feeder heifers were steady to $2 lower. Steer calves were not enough for a market test but a lower undertone was noted. Heifer calves were steady to $4 lower. The supply included 51% over 600 pounds, with 50% heifers.
