Cattle stolen in Riley County

Kansas

A Kansas Livestock Association member has reported five black cows stolen between Sept. 3 and Sept. 28 from a pasture west of Manhattan. All of the cattle have a T over O brand on the ribcage and each carries a number brand (16T, 19S, 27P, 20S or 44L) on the right hip. The black cattle had white numbered tags in the left ear.

KLA is offering up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thieves. The reward program only applies when the producer is a KLA member. Anyone with information on these cattle should contact Terry Ohlde at 785-747-6554.
