KLA Convention registration openKansas Members should be receiving registration booklets for the 100th Kansas Livestock Association Convention featuring political strategist Karl Rove, cowboy entertainer Baxter Black and market analyst Randy Blach. The event will take place Nov. 28 to 30 in Wichita. Another of the featured speakers will be one of the best-known and most-quoted restaurant sector analysts in the business. Nancy Kruse will analyze how beef fits into current menu trends in the foodservice business during KLA Beef Industry University, sponsored by the Farm Credit Associations of Kansas. Kruse is a visiting instructor at the Culinary Institute of America and writes a monthly column in Nation's Restaurant News dedicated to what's happening on the menu. The pre-registration deadline is Nov. 16. No rooms remain at the Wichita Hyatt, which is KLA Convention headquarters.
