Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Oct. 11, reported estimated receipts of 1,500 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week's limited test, steers were steady to $2 higher. Heifers in a limited supply, were steady to firm.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 147.50 to 150.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 145.50 to 147.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 146.35 to 148.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 145.85 to 147.60; 14 head 850 lbs., 143.60; 900 to 950 lbs., 134.00 to 136.10; 51 head 990 lbs., 132.85.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 138.00 to 138.75; 700 to 750 lbs., 135.00 to 137.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 133.00 to 136.10; 800 to 850 lbs., 130.85 to 132.50.
