High Plains weighted average direct slaughter cattle sales for the week ending Oct. 7, totaled 94,761 head, compared to 66,545 head last week and 118,107 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.
The report was based on sales in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota feedlots.
