Dunlap feeder cattle auction report

The Dunlap Feeder Cattle Auction, Dunlap, Iowa, reported receipts of 1,469 head Sept. 21, compared to 3,527 head two weeks ago, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa.

Compared to two weeks ago, steers at 400 to 500 pounds were $3 to $4 lower and at 500 to 800 pounds were steady. Heifers were steady. The receipts included 56% steers and 43% heifers, with 39% over 600 pounds.
