Webcast covers corn hybrid selectionVariety selection is arguably one of the most important decisions that corn growers make each year. Evaluating all the information in today's marketplace can be a daunting task, and the ever-increasing inclusion of technology traits and treatments in seed products further increases the need to understand their benefits and issues. Erick Larson, Ph.D., an Extension professor with Mississippi State University, addresses these needs through his presentation, "Corn Hybrid Selection in the Mid-South." And while Larson's presentation uses principles applied in the Mid-South, most of these principles apply globally. This presentation is open access through Feb. 28, 2013.
