Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., Nov. 1, reported estimated receipts of 1,500 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last week's limited test, feeder steers at 500 to 900 pounds were in a limited supply of medium and large frame 1 steady. Feeder heifers at 600 to 850 pounds were in a limited supply of medium and large frame 1, firm to $2 higher.
Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 500 to 550 lbs., 162.50 to 168.00; 10 head, 564 lbs., 157.00; 19 head, 657 lbs., 149.00; 13 head, 773 lbs., 149.25; 26 head, 800 lbs., 144.25; 42 head, 931 lbs., 141.10; 48 head, 1005 lbs., 132.50.
Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 135.00 to 138.50; 15 head, Replacement 690 lbs., 139.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 134.50 to 138.35; 12 head, 804 lbs., 132.25.
