Grain market closeThe USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colo., in the closing grain report for Nov. 19, reported in futures trading that Chicago December soft red winter wheat was $8.41 3/4, up 3 3/4 cents; December corn, $7.38 3/4, up 11 3/4 cents; and January soybeans, $13.94 3/4, up 11 1/2 cents. The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, $9.51 to $9.61, unchanged; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $9.21 3/4 to $9.26 3/4, up 3 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $8.26 3/4 to $8.30 3/4, up 29 3/4 to 11 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $12.83 1/2 to $13.37, up 21 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, $12.65 3/4 to $13.28, up 21 to 22 cents; and No. 2 yellow soybeans, barge, $14.93 3/4 to $14.94 3/4, up 20 1/2 to 12 1/2 cents. Colby, Kan., unit train wheat bid was $8.24. In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $8.11 to $8.86. No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, northwest Colorado was steady. In north central Colorado, wheat was $8.11 to $8.46. In northeast Colorado, wheat was $7.88 to $8.03. In east central Colorado, wheat was $7.86 to $8.26. In southeast Colorado, wheat was $8.06 to $8.31. In south central Colorado, wheat was $7.26. In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $8.03 to $8.06. No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was mostly 12 cents higher and $7.09 to $7.68 per bushel. In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $7.24 to $7.49. In east central Colorado, corn was $7.32 to $7.49. In southeast Colorado, corn was $7.74 to $7.79. In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, corn bids were $7.21 to $7.27 per bushel. No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was 21 cents higher at $12.66 to $12.84 per cwt. No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were 12 to 13 cents higher at $13.10 to $13.21 per bushel. White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $24 to $32.50 per cwt., mostly $31 to $32.50. Sunflowers were $26 to $32 cwt. In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $7.09 to $7.59 per bushel. Barley was steady at $13. In northeast Colorado and Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $35 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were $32 to $34. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $30 to $31. Great Northerns were steady to $2 higher at $38 to $40 in northeast Colorado and Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $32.
