Rasmussen's accents make it perfect for family

The Rasmussen (407-22), a beautiful rambler, has many extras that make it a great family home. Windows play a very prominent part in the facade of this unique home. Consolidated in the covered porch is a spa next to the master suite. To add to the overall spacious look is a vaulted covered deck in the rear.

Entry of the 2,801 square foot Rasmussen opens into the vaulted living room. This room is lined with windows, which bathe the room in natural light. Off the living room is a formal vaulted dining room. Archways to the living room and the hall add character to the room and make it independent of the larger room.

The vaulted family room has a wood stove in the center, a large entertainment center on the left, and is open to the kitchen/nook. The kitchen has long counters, a corner walk-in pantry, a raised dishwasher, and center island with a raised eating bar. The vaulted nook has patio doors opening onto the covered deck.

An enormous utility room is opposite bedroom two with plenty of folding counters and storage area. Bedroom two is large with a great window seat and a built-in desk. Bedroom three is also larger than normal bedrooms with a window seat, built-in shelf, and long wall closet.

Between bedroom three and the two-car garage is a handicap bathroom with a special shower, tub and two sinks. In this same area is the stairs to an unfinished attic over the garage large enough to hold a pool table and would make a great recreation room.

On the opposite side of the home is the master suite. It has a dormer overhead the vaulted suite area and a window seat on the left side. There are two walk-in closets adjacent to the master bath. The closet on the right has an opening to the entertainment center for ease of working with the stereo equipment wires. An oversized tub with a shower occupies the rear of the bathroom while his and her sinks are on the inside wall.
