American Sheep Industry Association officer nominations open

Want to throw your name in the hat to be the next officer of the American Sheep Industry Association? The nomination deadline is Nov. 19.

According to ASI's bylaws, "To be eligible to hold elective office, a person must be a breeder, producer or feeder of sheep." The bylaws also state that "no two officers shall be from the same state." Two of the current officers are eligible for election. Vice president, Clint Krebs (Ore.), and secretary/treasurer, Burton Pfliger (N.D.), have confirmed their interest in being nominated for the next office.

To make your interest known, contact Glen Fisher, ASI past president, at 325-387-3242 or by email to glfisher@hughes.net.
