Cattlemen's Foundation scholarships available

Oklahoma

The Northwest Cattlemen's Foundation has provided over $150,000.00 in scholarships to youth majoring in agriculture related fields of study. Incoming college freshmen as well as current college students both are awarded scholarships each year.

The Foundation awarded nine $1,000 scholarships for the 2011-2012 school year. The following students were awarded scholarships this year: Holley Jo Eike, Fargo; Kaleb Smith, Woodward; Kyle Covalt, Woodward; Jolyn Easterwood, Ft. Supply; Emily Fanning, May; Brandi Blasdel, Buffalo; Darrell Nine, Laverne; Mikel Gibson, Laverne; and Carson Cooper, Mooreland.

Seniors graduating this year that are planning to major in agriculture related field of study can submit a scholarship application for the 2013-2014 school year. Applications are available at: www.oces.okstate.edu/woodward just click on the "Scholarship" icon to pull up either the graduating senior or current college student application.

Applications are due into the Woodward County OSU Extension Center by 5 p.m. on March 29, 2013. For more information you can contact Dana Bay, Woodward County OSU Extension, at 580-254-3391.
