NWOCA to hold all breed bull and cow sale

The Northwest Oklahoma Cattlemen's Foundation will be holding its annual cow and bull sale on Nov. 13 at the Woodward Livestock Auction in Woodward, Okla. The annual cow and bull sale will start at 1 p.m.

The sale committee is now taking consignments for the annual cow and bull sale. If you are interested in consigning bred or open replacement heifers, cows or bulls in the sale contact Justin Barr at 580-334-1012. Consignment fees are $5 per head for dry cows, $10 per head for pairs that are paired up $20 per head for pairs that the sale committee has to pair and $50 per head for bulls above all regular sale barn commissions and costs. All cattle for the Special Sale must be unloaded at the sale barn by Nov. 11. Cattle unloaded on Nov. 12 for the Special Sale will be charged and extra $10 per head.

All bulls consigned to sale must have a negative test for trichomoniasis within 30 days of sale or be less than 18 months of age and be certified as virgin bulls. All bulls must also have passed a fertility test within 30 days of sale. Proper documentation of trich and fertility tests must be provided to sale veterinarian.

Remember if you need to market some replacement females or bulls give us a call and let us help you market your cattle. If you're in the market for replacement females or bulls you'll want to plan on being at the Woodward Livestock Auction on Nov. 13, for the Northwest Cattlemen's Annual Cow and Bull sale. A free lunch will be provided.
