The Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Neb., reported receipts of 3,850 head Nov. 1, compared to 3,100 head last week and 5,000 head last year, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb.
Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 450 pounds was steady to $15 lower, with heifers on the lower end weights over 450 pounds were $3 to $12 higher. Steers accounted for 75% and heifers 25% of the offering. Weights over 600 pounds were 15% of the offering.
