Field Crop Update set for Feb. 14

Kansas

K-State Research and Extension will host a Kansas River Valley Experiment Field Crop Update on Feb. 14, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Puffy's Steak and Ice House, Maple Hill, Kan.

The update will have lunch served by Puffy's Steak and IceHouse.

--Managing Surface and Subsurface Compaction, DeAnn Presley, Ph.D.;

--Managing Glyphosate Resistance Weeds, Doug Shoup, Ph.D.;

--Soybean Seed Treatments and Foliar Fungicides, Kraig Roozeboom

--Tillage and Residue Management in Corn and Soybean Production--Eric Adee, Ph.D.;

--Lunch; and

--Kaw Valley Irrigator's Annual Business meeting.

The Experiment Field Update will be held at Puffy's Steak and IceHouse in Maple Hill, Kansas. Please RSVP by Feb. 13 to the Shawnee County Extension Office 785-232-0062, ext. 0. Any questions, call Adee at 785-354-7236 at the Kansas River Valley Experiment Station.

A $15 fee will be charged for the meal and membership dues.
