Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales
The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 2,800 head, as of 3 p.m., Feb. 2, according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers at 300 to 700 pounds and heifers at 300 to 650 pounds, in a very limited supply, were $4 to $8 higher. Steers at 700 to 1,000 pounds were steady to firm, and heifers at 650 to 900 pounds were $3 to $5 higher. Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 350 to 400 lbs., 203.00 to 218.00; 400 to 450 lbs., 207.00 to 213.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 197.00 to 204.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 177.00 to 178.00, 43 head, Thin Fleshed 505 to 547 lbs., 186.00 to 192.00; 550 to 600 lbs., 168.00 to 174.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 158.00 to 160.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 153.75 to 167.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 150.25 to 156.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 148.85 to 150.50; 850 to 900 lbs., 146.50 to 147.00; 67 head, 906 lbs., 139.10; 42 head, 958 lbs., 136.50.
