Cavanaugh's facade startling

The unique facade of the Cavanaugh (D8540) is startling. It has the quality of a Victorian home with the ranch style porch. There are numerous paned windows, varied roof-lines, and wood and rock walls.

Entry into this 1,699 square foot home brings one into a foyer with a coat closet on the left and a den on the right behind French doors. Adjacent to the den is the stairs to the second floor and the optional 1,268 square foot basement. On the left is a half bath, convenient to the main living space.

The utility room is just beyond the half bath and has a sink as well as the washer and dryer. A door to the two-car garage is in this area also, and is handy to the pantry when unloading groceries as the pantry is right on the corner of the utility room.

Across from the pantry is an "L" shaped kitchen featuring an island with the eating bar on one side and work space on the other. There is a window over the sink and large counter space.

The balance of the right side of Cavanaugh is family room and nook. The area is open and spacious with a fireplace on the rear wall surrounded by windows. There is a patio door off the nook leading to a back deck or patio.

The master suite occupies the left side of this great home. It has a large main suite with 10-foot ceilings and three large windows in the rear, bathing the room in sunlight. There is an enormous walk-in closet, a full bath with a tub and sink in one portion and a shower and stool in a separate area.

Upstairs are two more bedrooms and a full bath with a tub. Bedroom three has a corner walk-in closet and bedroom two has a wall closet. There is a linen closet adjacent to the stairs. In between the two bedrooms is a computer area, ideal for students to do homework or for the in-home business.
