Extension to host beef cattle update in Hays

Kansas

Cattle producers, does winter feeding have you in the dumps?

Don't think you can winter your cow herd with little or no hay?

Come hear how others are accomplishing this at the Ellis County Beef Cattle Update and Producer Panel on Feb. 8 in Hays.

A cattle producer panel will explain how they have taken major steps in reducing winter feed costs. Also the topic of AI and how it fits into today's commercial operations will be discussed, by an Extension Beef specialist.

The program will be held on Feb. 8 at the Ellis County Extension back meeting room, 601 Main Street, Hays. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the program will start at 6 p.m.

RSVP is requested by Feb. 6. Call anytime at 785-628-9430, or email Theresa at tam3@ksu.edu.
