Natural Resources Rendezvous features keynote by Bruce Vincent


Motivational speaker Bruce Vincent is the featured keynote speaker at the Wyoming Natural Resources Rendezvous, Dec. 10 to 13 in Casper at the Parkway Plaza.

This joint convention between the Wyoming Stock Growers, Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts and the Society for Range Management-Wyoming Section will bring together hundreds of agriculturists and natural resource users to discuss the management of resources on working lands.

Bruce Vincent is a third-generation logger from Libby, Mont. During the past 20 years, he has given motivational speeches throughout the United States and the world, has testified on natural resource issues before Congress and has appeared on several news programs such as "60 Minutes."

Bruce is currently serving as president of Communities For A Great Northwest (a non-profit he also helped form), is a partner in the public relations firm ENVIRONOMICS, serves as executive director of the Preserve America Presidential Award winning Provider Pals cultural exchange program and serves on several boards and committees. He has received many awards including the inaugural Presidential Preserve America Award from President Bush in 2004.

Vincent will speak on Dec. 12 during the Wyoming Natural Resources Rendezvous General Session.

The joint convention will also feature addresses from Wyoming Governor Matt Mead, the Wyoming Congressional Delegation and key members of the Wyoming Legislature, Wyoming State Treasurer Mark Gordon and NRCS Regional Conservationist for the West Aster Boozer.
