On the evening of Dec. 5, a second program will be held at the Yuma County Fairgrounds in Yuma. Sign-in will be open at 5:30 p.m. A local 4-H club will be serving a light meal at the Yuma event.

The third program will be held on Dec. 6 at the Washington County Road & Bridge Shop in Anton. Sign-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. A local 4-H club will be serving a light lunch at the Anton event.

At all three programs, presenters from Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska will provide information on pasture/range weed control, expectations of 2013 range following the 2012 drought, heifer development strategies, external cattle parasites, ration balancing for the cow herd, and a market update.

There is a modest registration fee to cover the cost of food and handouts. It is $10 for those who pre-register or $15 at the door.

To pre-register or get more information you can contact the Yuma County Extension office at 970-332-4151 or 310 Ash St., STE B Wray, CO 80758.
