NuTech Seed announced their new product offerings for 2013 planting, which will help growers produce more corn and soybeans in the southwest and mid-south growing areas.
The 903 Series is a new 10-day hybrid available as Herculex Xtra, Herculex 1, and glyphosate tolerant only versions. This hybrid is second only to our 905 Series for toughness in the worst conditions Mother Nature can dish out. The 806 Series is one of the most broadly adapted new 106-day hybrids available today in either a Herculex 1 or glyphosate only version. Top-end yield and good overall stability has shown in both 2011 and 2012 trials. The 5H-309 boasts very good stress tolerance on a 109-day Herculex 1 hybrid along with good top-end yield. The 811 Series of hybrids brings integrated refuge of AcreMax Extra and AcreMax trait package to the table in a 111-day, broadly adapted hybrid with good stress tolerance. Integrated refuge means refuge simplicity all in the bag. The 214 Series is a new 113-day platform that has plant height along with good overall stability and broad adaptation. The 214 Series is available as a TRIsect product as well as Herculex 1 and glyphosate only versions. TRIsect trait package includes the European corn borer control of Herculex 1 trait and the Corn rootworm control of the MIR604 rootworm trait from Syngenta along with glyphosate tolerance. The 5X-915 is a few full-season hybrid that has a very attractive plant type with good plant health and late-season integrity. This steady, dependable product has shown well in eastern Kansas in 2012 trials.
The 7250 brings consistent performance and high yields, combined with the added protection of Peking source for soybean cyst nematode. It has good iron deficiency chlorosis and sudden death syndrome tolerance and very good standability with the Rps1k phytopthora gene. Top-end yield potential combined with a great defensive package make 7273 a must-have on your farm, with very good tolerance to sudden death syndrome and iron deficiency chlorosis along with excellent frogeye leaf spot tolerance. The 7323 brings high yield potential and a great defensive package enabling it to become the new western leader in maturity group III, with good tolerance to charcoal rot. The 7390 brings very good sudden death syndrome and frogeye leaf spot tolerance needed for southern soybean growing areas.
