Applegate's ATV Feeder provides an end to bucket feeding
Applegate Livestock Equipment announced the addition of the Feed Train ATV Feeder to its line of products. Manufactured in Unionville, Mo., the ATV Feeder offers an alternative to bucket feeding livestock in remote areas and brings about new possibilities for farmers worldwide. The ATV feeder supports many types of feed (including cubes) and features like a translucent 500-pound capacity feed tank and a 4-inch auger designed to fill bunks of all heights.
The ATV Feeder also includes a large 18" x 28" opening lid designed for easy loading and a dual-speed controller with a 15-foot cord that dispenses feed at two speeds: low at nine seconds per five gallons or high at 4.5 seconds per five gallons. The ATV Feeder attaches to all styles of ATVs using a two-inch ball hitch at 12-inch height with 22x1100x8 tires. Battery tender and circuit breaker protection are built in for all electronics.
