Applications for the 2013 Young Stockmen's Academy due

Kansas Livestock Association currently is accepting applications for the 2013 Young Stockmen's Academy class. Vista from Merck Animal Health will again be the exclusive sponsor for the program, which consists of four seminars throughout the year designed to educate young members about KLA, the legislative process, advocacy, agribusiness, the retail food business and various segments of the beef and dairy industries.

Applications can be found at www.kla.org or by contacting Letty Meek at the KLA office. The deadline is Dec. 17.
