Soybeans have double-digit gainsSoybeans had solid double-digit gains with corn closing with slight gains and wheat closing lower Dec. 3, according to the National Grain Market Summary. Corn ended up posting a quiet session as lack of follow through buying interest ran out. Export inspections for corn were light. Soybeans closed higher on renewed buying interest and good export demand. Wheat closed lower despite a lower dollar index. Wheat closed 6 to 13 cents lower. Corn traded 2 to 6 cents higher. Soybeans closed 15 to 19 cents higher. In the futures close, Kansas City March wheat was $9.06 3/4, down 6 1/2 cents. Terminal wheat bids, paid for truck delivery, included Kansas City, $8.57 to $8.62, down 11 to 6 cents; Minneapolis, $9.42 1/4, down 4 1/2 cents; Portland, $8.70 3/4 to $8.55, down 2 3/4 to up 9 cents; St. Louis, $8.22, down 13 cents. Terminal corn bids, U.S. No. 2 yellow, price paid for truck deliver, included: Kansas City, $7.80 to $7.85, down 3 to up 2 cents; Minneapolis, $7.24 3/4, up 4 3/4 cents; southern Iowa, $7.37 3/4 to $7.44 3/4, up 6 3/4 to 3 3/4 cents; Omaha, $7.78 to $7.80, up 3 to 4 cents. Terminal soybean bids, U.S. No. 1, price paid for truck delivery, included: Kansas City, $14.77, up 15 cents; Minneapolis, no bids; southern Iowa, $14.35 3/4 to $114.48 3/4, up 15 to 19 cents; central Illinois processors, $14.59 3/4 to $14.63 3/4, up 17 to 15 cents. Kansas City wheat prices Dec. 4, spot, fob track, included: No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, $9.35 1/2 to $9.97 1/2, down 4 1/4 cents; 12% protein, $9.82 1/2 to $10.11 1/2, down 9 1/4 to 4 1/4 cents; 13% protein, $9.96 1/2 to $10.11 1/2, down 4 1/4 cents; 14% protein, $9.96 1/2 to $10.11 1/2, down 4 1/4 cents.
