Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

The Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., Dec. 6, reported estimated receipts of 2,500 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last sale, feeder steers at 650 to 900 pounds were steady. Feeder heifers at 600 to 900 pounds were firm to $2 higher. Steers at 650 pounds and under and heifers at 600 pounds and under were not established as of 3 p.m.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 40 head, 674 lbs., 154.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 149.00 to 152.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 148.85 to 149.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 146.50 to 149.75; 850 to 900 lbs., 144.50 to 146.60.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 139.00 to 143.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 140.00 to 144.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 137.00 to 141.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 134.25 to 137.10; 900 to 950 lbs., 130.25.
