Superior video auction reportThe Superior Video Auction reported receipts of 21,800 head Nov. 30, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Amarillo, Texas. Compared to the last sale, weights over 700 pounds in the South Central region were firm to $5 higher on a light test. Lighter weight offerings under 600 pounds were mixed, depending on the region, with the North Central and West regions at $3 to $7 higher with instances over $10 higher on weaned program calves. The supply includes 52% feeder steers and heifers over 600 pounds, 60% of the feeder supply was steers and 40% heifers. Prices FOB based on net weights after a 2 to 3% pencil shrink or equivalent, with a 3 to 6 cent slide on yearlings and 4 to 10 on calves. Deliveries are current through February 2013.
