Woodward livestock market report

The Woodward Livestock Market, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 4,764 head Nov. 30, compared to 4,336 head two weeks ago, and 4,660 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to two weeks ago, feeder steers were steady to $1 higher. Feeder heifers were steady. Steer calves were $1 to $4 higher, instance $8 higher on 500 pounds. Heifer calves were $1 to $4 higher, instance $10 higher on 500 pounds. Demand was good on feeders, good to very good on calves. The supply included 44% over 600 pounds with 25% heifers.
