DE SMET, S.D. (AP)--A South Dakota-based beef promotion organization is spinning a prize onto the "Wheel of Fortune.''
In three episodes that will air starting Jan. 9, the game show's giant wheel will feature a spot offering $1,000 in "Beef Bucks.''
The De Smet organization was started in 1997 by family farmers Bob and Nancy Montross. Beef Bucks has since sold more than $1 million in beef-only checks and reloadable debit cards.
