The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., May 26, reported estimated receipts of 1,200 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last week, in a very limited test of steers and heifers were weak.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 10 head, 420 lbs., 145.50; 6 head, 635 lbs., 130.00; 18 head, 703 lbs., 124.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 121.85 to 123.35; 850 to 900 lbs., 119.85 to 120.50; 58 head, 914 lbs., 118.50; 57 head, 1001 lbs., 111.25. Fleshy, 5 head, 692 lbs., 124.00.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 7 head, 295 lbs., 141.00; 5 head, 317 lbs., 152.00; 9 head, 388 lbs., 131.00; 9 head 418 lbs., 127.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 113.50 to 114.10; 850 to 900 lbs., 113.00 to 114.00; 12 head, 940 lbs., 103.25; 31 head, 951 lbs., 102.25. Fleshy, 62 head, 884 lbs., 106.00.
