Superior video auction reportThe Super Video Auction reported offerings of 29,500 head May 20, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Amarillo, Texas. Compared to the last sale, feeder steers and heifers were $1 to $5 lower on a light test and limited comparable sales. The supply includes 45% feeder steers and heifers over 600 pounds, 56% of the feeder supply was steers and 44% heifers. Prices FOB based on net weights after a 2 to 3% pencil shrink or equivalent, with a 3 to 6 cent slide on yearlings and 4 to 10 on calves. Deliveries current through December 2011.
