Extension program will cover vitamin D

Kansas

Just in time for National Nutrition Month in March, the Finney County Extension Office will host an educational program on "Vitamin D--Sunshine to Supplements."

Learn more about the many facets of human health affected by vitamin D. No longer just important for bones, vitamin D is now known to play a vital role in a wide variety of functions throughout the life cycle.

Join guest speaker Belinda Oldham, Wichita County Extension agent, for "Vitamin D--Sunshine to Supplements" on March 23, at noon at the Finney County Extension Office, 501 S. 9th Street on the fairgrounds in Garden City.

Bring a lunch to enjoy during the program; dessert and drinks will be provided.

Please pre-register by March 22 at the Finney County Extension Office, 620-272-3670, to ensure adequate dessert and program materials. For questions or more information, contact Finney County Extension Agent Linda Beech.
