The Kansas Sampler Foundation announced that registration is now taking place for the bi-annual We Kan! Conference. Designed for community-doers, the conference will take place March 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Webster Conference Center near Salina.
The "PowerUp and PowerOn Rural Kansas" theme will feature the empowerment of those 21 to 39 who are rural by choice. Sessions will feature community development and rural tourism ideas and efforts shared by those who have made it work in their communities. Registration fee is $60.
