Support groups for military families to meetWyoming A team representing support groups for military personnel will have meetings in 10 Wyoming towns in January. The Wyoming Joint Family Support Assistance Team will offer information about services and programs available to military personnel and their families. Service providers include Military One Source, Military Family Life Consultant Program and Operation Military Kids, among others. Support includes counseling, financial assistance/planning, child care services, child resources and others. All services are free. The meeting schedule is: --Jan. 10 Chugwater, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Chugwater Community Center, 311 2nd St. Pine Bluffs, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 217 W. 3rd --Jan. 11 Laramie, 9-10 a.m. at Armory; 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Albany County Public Library, 310 S. 8th St. Casper, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Natrona County Public Library, 307 East 2nd St.; 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Armory --Jan. 12 Glenrock, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glenrock Branch Library, 518 S 4th St. Douglas, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Armory Lusk, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at County of Niobrara Senior Center, 611 E. 6th St. For more information, contact Kelly Backhaus at 307-277-4402 or at kelly.1.backhaus@healthnet.com.
