Insecticide recommendations available

Arkansas

One of the most-read publications issued by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture, MP144, "Insecticide Recommendations for Arkansas," is now available from county offices and downloadable online.

"The whole publication is broken down, not just by crop, but by each pest that can appear in each crop," said Glenn Studebaker, Extension entomologist for the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture. "We also have a rating performance chart at the beginning of each section so you can look at the chart and get an idea of how effective those insecticides are against each of the particular pests."

The book may be obtained through the online ordering system at www.uaex.edu/Other_Areas/publications/default.asp, or through your county office.

The searchable and downloadable PDF can be found at www.uaex.edu/Other_Areas/publications/HTML/MP-144.asp.

For more information about pest control and crop production, contact your county Extension office or visit www.uaex.edu.
