Correction on wind farm story

A story that appeared in the Feb. 1 issue of High Plains Journal/Midwest Ag Journal, "Wind energy holds great potential, some challenges" incorrectly stated the total number of acres taken out of production for a wind farm. A wind turbine takes 1 1/2 to 2 total acres out of production.

The Journal regrets the error.
