FAPC to host Social Media Training

Oklahoma

The Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center is holding a Social Media Training July 15 to help food companies better understand social media and how it can benefit businesses. The training will focus on how to set up a Facebook and Twitter company account and what to do with that account once it is created.

Bill Handy, OSU School of Journalism and Broadcasting, will discuss social media background and why it is important. The training is limited to the first 25 participants.

The Social Media Training will be held July 15 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the FAPC, Room 120.

The Early Bird cost is $50 per participant if registered by July 2. After July 2, cost is $75 per participant. To register or for more information, contact Karen Smith at 405-744-6277 or karenl.smith@okstate.edu, or visit www.fapc.biz/socialmediatraining.
