6th annual agricultural trade show rolls outTexas The Southwest Farm & Ranch Classic rolls out the sixth annual event in Lubbock, Texas, Feb. 9 to 11. This indoor and outdoor show will feature unique events, entertainment and demonstrations along with a large exhibit area of commercial agricultural exhibits and displays in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The purpose of the event is to provide agricultural producers and landowners of all types and sizes an opportunity to meet with company representatives, see new equipment and new features, and learn more about the latest developments to benefit agricultural operations and landowner stewardship. Exhibitors entering the show already span national, regional and local companies and include tractor and equipment manufacturers, irrigation, chemical and seed suppliers, sprayer manufacturers, tillage tools, trailers, livestock equipment manufacturers, financial and leasing services. Company representatives will be on hand to discuss the newest designs, techniques, equipment and products available. Outdoor exhibits and a hands-on demonstration area will return to the show for 2010. Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples will be the keynote speaker for the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Power Breakfast, at 8 a.m., Feb. 11 and he will discuss the current state of agriculture in Texas and its worldwide impact through our products.
