2010 Colorado Farm Show is saluting American ag

The 2010 Colorado Farm Show begins Jan. 26 and runs until Jan. 28 at Island Grove Park in Greeley, Colo. Show hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Jan. 26 and 27 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 28. Free admission, parking is $5.

The Colorado Farm Show emphasizes education and has more than 300 exhibitors on site showcasing the latest products in the agriculture industry. The Colorado Farm Show also hosts over 25 guest speakers discussing various agriculture related topics.

The Colorado Farm Show awards six $2000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors to use toward their education in their pursuit of a career in agriculture. The Chuck Urano Memorial Scholarship was started in 1992 to honor the late founder of the Colorado Farm Show; to date over $62,000 in scholarships has been awarded.
