South Central direct sheep sales

The South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending Jan. 29, showed receipts of 700 head of feeder lambs, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

These are the first new crop lambs of the season to sell. No comparison available. There were no slaughter lambs, slaughter ewes, replacement ewes or slaughter meat goat.

Feeder lambs: Texas, 700 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 70 lbs., new crop 145.00.
