Texhoma livestock auction reportThe Texhoma Livestock Auction, Texhoma, Okla., reported receipts of 298 head Feb. 3, compared to 1,690 head last week and 1,260 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, there were limited receipts to test market trends, due to 12 to 14 inches snow in the trade area. Demand was moderate to good for all classes. Fill was average. The supply included 22% steers, 77% heifers with 92% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 8 head, 542 lbs., 111.00 value added; 15 head, 653 lbs., 101.50 value added; 22 head, 757 lbs., 98.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 8 head, 548 lbs., 95.50 value added; 10 head, 665 lbs., 93.50 value added; 135 head, 800 lbs., 89.10.
