Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

Pratt Livestock Sales Inc., Pratt, Kan., Feb. 4, reported estimated receipts of 1,200 head, according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared to last week, light receipts curtailed due to the winter weather conditions this week. Steers and heifers at 300 to 550 pounds were not tested. Steers at 550 to 650 pounds were steady to weak, 650 to 750 pounds were steady to $1 higher, and 750 to 900 pounds were $2 higher. Feeder heifers at 550 to 650 pounds were steady to $2 higher, and 650 to 850 pounds were steady. Steers and heifers at 900 pounds and over were not tested.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 550 to 600 lbs., 107.50 to 108.00; 21 head 627 lbs., 104.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 100.50 to 102.75; 700 to 750 lbs., 98.25 to 101.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 95.00 to 98.60; 800 to 850 lbs., 95.60 to 99.75; 14 head 861 lbs., 97.85.
