Fremont County Farm and Ranch Days offers 45 sessions

Wyoming

Two days filled with 45 presentations serve as a backdrop for producers and agribusinessmen to gather during the 26th Annual Farm and Ranch Days in Riverton.

Sessions begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. on Feb. 11 to 12 in the armory building at the Fremont County Fairgrounds. A free lunch is provided both days. The complete schedule is accessible by going to www.uwyo.edu/uwag and clicking on the Fremont County Farm and Ranch Days link under Upcoming Events.

Rolinda Mackler, Wyoming Life Flight membership coordinator at the Wyoming Medical Center, will present information about Wyoming Life Flight during lunch Feb. 11. Greg Kerr, University of Wyoming Office of Water Programs director, will present information about Wind River glaciers and streamflows at the Feb. 12 luncheon. No registration is required, and the sessions are for everyone.

"It's a great time of year," said Ron Cunningham, University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service educator in Fremont County. "Farmers haven't started farming yet, and, if calving or lambing, it still gives producers a good break to come in and visit with their neighbors and the reps who are there and learn about what's new in agriculture."
