McPherson County Farm Bureau to host First District Candidate Forum

Members of the media and the general public are invited to a First District Candidate Forum being hosted by McPherson County Farm Bureau.

The forum will be held at 6:30 p.m., May 4, at the McPherson Opera House located at 219 S. Main Street, McPherson.

All eight candidates seeking the Congressional seat representing western and central Kansas will be represented at the event.

The forum will include time for each candidate to introduce himself or herself, answer questions submitted by the public and give closing statements. Biographical information on each candidate will also be available.

Following the forum, the candidates and general public are invited to The Well Coffee Shop, 101 N. Main Street, McPherson, for an informal meet-and-greet event. The forum and meet-and-greet are being co-sponsored by The McPherson Sentinel and The Well Coffee Shop.

McPherson County Farm Bureau is a grassroots organization that thrives to serve its 1,635 member families.
