K-State Beef Cattle Research Roundup set for April 15

Kansas

The K-State Research and Extension Agricultural Research Center at Hays will host its 95th Annual Beef Cattle Research Roundup April 15 at the center.

"During the past year we have initiated many new research projects that I believe address issues that directly affect beef production in western Kansas," said John Jaeger, K-State beef cattle scientist based in Hays. "The outcomes from some of these projects will be discussed during the 2010 Roundup."

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. in the center's Hays feedlot arena, with the program beginning at 10:30 a.m. After a lunch, sponsored by Golden Plains Trucking, Carrico Implement and Southeast Select Sires, the afternoon sessions will be held in the auditorium.
