Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 1,200 head, Oct. 22, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, steers at 700 to 900 pounds and heifers at 650 to 1000 pounds were steady on light offerings. Steers weighing 700 pounds and under and heifers weighing 600 pounds and under were not tested.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 17 head, 426 lbs., 117.00; 47 head, 459 lbs., 113.00; 6 head, 594 lbs., 99.00; 6 head, 623 lbs., 97.00; 60 head, 782 lbs., 93.00; 58 head, 869 lbs., 92.25.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 14 head, 381 lbs., 106.00; 27 head, 463 lbs., 97.50; 40 head, 883 lbs., 88.00; 950 to 1000 lbs., 82.50 to 84.25.
