Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 1,600 head Oct. 15, compared to 1,230 head last week and 1,042 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. The supply included 40% heifers and 31% over 600 pounds.
