Texhoma livestock sales reportThe Texhoma Livestock Auction, Texhoma, Okla., reported receipts of 2,675 head Oct. 14, compared to 905 head last week and 320 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, there was no recent market report to test trends. Demand was good for feeder cattle, moderate to good for calves. Fill was average. The supply included 65% steers, 5% heifers with 81% over 600 pounds. A total of 211 cows and bulls sold with 44% to packers.
