South Central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep sales for the week ending Oct. 2, showed receipts of 1,000 head, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Compared to last week feeder lambs were weak. There were no slaughter lambs, slaughter ewes, replaces ewes or slaughter meat goats. Trading and demand were moderate.

Feeder lambs: Texas, 1000 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 65 to 85 lbs., 90.00 to 97.00.
